Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
A previous employee of our company did a job for a client and had the check made out to him personally, what legal ramifications do we have towards this individual?

It seems like you have several options, including:
1. Report the former employee to the district attorney so they can charge him with theft.
2. Sue the former employee in civil court to recover the money; and
3. Sue the client for paying the wrong entity.
