Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
I purchased a new trailer from a dealership. The first time I used the trailer, I discovered the black water tank was completely full! It was used for a demo trailer and that was never disclosed to me. Now everyone at the dealership is avoiding my phone calls. What are my legal rights?

As a Franchise Attorney I can say this. You may have grounds to rescind (cancel) the contract on the basis of fraud or misrepresentation. You should write the dealership a certified letter that documents what happened and include whatever legal demand is appropriate. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice and details, including possibly putting the demand letter on their letterhead.
