Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
regestered agent
We plan to start marketing our funeral products nationwide through our website. Does selling in other states require that we have a registered agent in each foreign state? Does it also mean that we will need to file tax returns in each foreign state?

Re: regestered agent
Simply by selling your product in another state, does not require you to have a registered agent there. On the other hand, if selling a "funeral product" requires you to register in that state, then you would have to have a registered agent. The issue of state taxes is somewhat more complicated and depends a great deal on physical presence. Would suggest you contact someone with experience in both areas and significantly more detail than you provide here.
Re: regestered agent
In general, no. But each state may view your product differently and have specific requirements for funeral products.
