Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
Repossession
I co-signed for a car for my mother in the year of 2002. The car was paid for on time until 10/31/2006. We called and asked the company we dealt
with to pick up the vehicle. Balance due $1,180.72. Car picked up (10/31/2003) and sold 11/14/2003 for $3,785.00. Am I obligated for any balance due? Can I have this removed from my credit report?

Re: Repossession
As co-signer you'd be responsible for any balance due. And it can go on your credit report.
