Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
I requested a sign company make a banner for an event. I didn't get off work in enough time before they closed and I did not have the banner for my event. Am I still liable for payment even if they failed to let me know that they were closed on the day of the event?

As a Franchise Attorney I advise as follows. It's your responsibility to pick up items you order in a timely basis. It's also your responsibility to determine the store's operating hours and plan accordingly. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
