Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
Can I reside in another state and business homebase in another?
I am starting a business in the state of Texas, my bank, my right hand person lives here, as do I. Eventually I want to build a home in NY and live only part time in TX, probably only a couple months in TX. Is this legal and can I continue to file all paperwork, here where I started, keep my bank here and conduct some of my business? I will have the majority of Sales people working for me, from TX but also have some in NY. Thank you kindly....

You can do what you want. However, it would be better if you formed a business entity in Texas, such as a corporation or an LLC, to reside in Texas while you took up residence in NY.
