Setting up a LLC
Before i set up a LLC do I have to make sure the name of the Company that I decided on is not being used in my State or is it the entire U.S.

You'd first check the state. If it's OK, you can set up the LLC in that name. But before you do business, check with the Office of Patent & Trademark to see if anyone has the name you want to do business under, because that covers the entire US. If the name is trademarked, the LLC can file an assumed name certificate for an unprotected name and do business under the d/b/a.
