Re: Sexually oriented ordinance in the county of Lubbock Texas
I just wanted to know if there is such a thing as a sexually oriented ordinance, if so how does it apply to Adult oriented businesses wanting to sell product of a mature nature in the county of Lubbock?
Also wanted to know where I might find the ordinance on the wold wide web.

Most cities will have a sexually oriented business (SOB) ordinance. If you can't find it on the local goverment web page, then I suggest you check with your local law library to see if they have copies. The statute should include definitions of what types of businesses constitute an SOB. I strongly recommend your hiring local counsel for an opinion on your business.
