Legal Question in Business Law in Texas

Signed Contract after being laidoff from employment after 18 1/2 years

Corporate office located in Michigan worked in texas office for 18 1/2 years was laidoff this past November 2006 with severage pay, cobra insurance. My question is that we were due profit sharing at the end of 2006 and no mention of profit sharing money until 2007 and a memo was sent out to existing employees saying that they would receive profit sharing in March of 2007 but the memo stated also that you have to be employed with company the entire year of 2006 to receive profit sharing. Also contract states that the contract I signed that there would be no more money other than what was stated in contract (No mention profit sharing) do I have a any recourse to ask for my profit sharing after 18 1/2.
