Start an LLC on a TN-1 visa (temporary us resident)
I am a Canadian Citizen working in the States on a TN-1 visa. Can I start an LLC here? Thanks!

Unless your visa prohibits you from engaging in a business enterprise, you should be able to form a LLC.

Texas law does not restrict the ownership of membership interests in a limited liability company to US citizens, therefore, there is nothing under Texas law that would prohibit you from owning an interest in a Texas limited liability company.
