Legal Question in Business Law in Texas

Starting An Internet Business

I'm about to start an internet business in about a month, and was wondering what do I have to do before I do anything. Is there any laws or rights to starting a business?

Re: Starting An Internet Business

One of your most important decisions you will make is choosing the business type. In Texas we have many business entities. Each one has distinctive attributes, and the challenge is to choose the entity that will best suit your current and future needs. Some factors in making this decision are: they type of business, liability exposure, how many people are involved in it, whether you are planning for growth and expansion, or wish to maintain a constant size, and tax and financial considerations.

Just a few of the options are:

a sole proprietorships

general partnership

limited partnership

limited liability partnership

limited liability company

corporation

Also, you should consult with your tax advisor to determine the implication of employment taxes for the different types of business entities.
