Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
Stop payment for services rendered
I hauled several cars for someone from Co to TX. I was paid with a company check. This guy put a stop payment on check. I s this criminal theft of service as the amount was 3200.00 This also happened to a Chase Manhattan money order. This Chase bank could care less.
Can I repossess these cars for non-payment for services rendered?

You can file a breach of contract against the company and after you receive a judgment, use the judgment to attach the company's assets until they pay. If you would like assistance with this at a reasonable flat rate, contact my office. NemecLaw dot com.
