The corporation maintains a stock ledger that shows who owns how many shares. That's usually kept with the corporate minute book, which may be at the corporate lawyer's office, or the corporate business office, or at the primary shareholder's house.

The corporation is required to make such corporate information available to shareholders for inspection and copying, upon written request, at a mutually convenient time and place. If you're not a shareholder, you can't get them without a court order.
