if a tradename is registered and it is my birth name can i use my name in front of a business name?

That's purely fact-dependent. If your birth-name is Buster Brown, and you want to sell articles of clothing, Buster Brown Shoes will be all over you because there's a suggestion that Buster Brown Shoes has branched out into clothing.
Discuss the situation with a patent and trademark attorney. They are listed under "Patents" in the Yellow Pages rather than under "Attorneys".
