Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
I am having my transmission worked on and they told me that it would be $250.00 to tell me how much it would be to repair it. The quote is $850.00, the parts it needs are sycronizers 4 each, are $11.00 each. Plus, oyher parts, which are seals and gaskets, I guess the price for that is around $25.00 to $35.00. that brings the price to around $80.00, and labor, the price couldn't come to $850.00. That would make the labor $770.00. I believe that is way to much money for labor. Thanks for the help.

As a Franchise Attorney I can tell you this. There's a lot of labor involved in taking out the transmission, opening it up, fixing what needs fixing, then putting it back in the car. Ask the repair shop how they calculate the labor cost and I'm sure they will provide all the detail. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
