Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
Unit Option Agreement
I currently have a ''Unit Option Agreement'' with my employer. I don't feel the agreement will ever be paid out and I'm planning on leaving the company. The Option price is $.05 per Unit. Can I ask for it to be paid at that price per unit now? I don't understand this next sentence in the agreement, ''The Option Price shall include Optionee's exercising and delivering a counterpart of the Agreement of Limited Partnership of the limited partnership for which Optionee exercises and shall be subject to the terms thereof.'' What does that mean? And, what do I have to do to get these options paid at $ .05 per unit.
