Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
Verbal Partner took all of our business property
My Husband and I verbally partnered up with another party. We had to move our club, and this other party had a building he was leasing. So we opened the club at new location. He had bad terms with the landlord who evicted him after only 2 months. My husband and i were going to sign a new lease with landlord. Our verbally agreed partner took all of our property and left a notice of voluntary surrender. Stating he took 50% of business property. Can we fight this to get our property back? Totaling $150,000 in property.
