Legal Question in Business Law in Texas

I am working with a group of Scientists that have made a major breakthrough in an area of zoology that will be worth millions of dollars as a documentary. I do not know the best was to protect the information discovered and then to protect the rights to that information so that we can benefit from the end product of film, movie, and book rights.

I have little to no money but still need protection to the future rights of this information. What should I do?

(I am in California, but the discovery was made in Texas)

Robert Stephens Stephens & Stephens

The information is a Trade Secret, so be careful who you give all the details. In order to protect yourself you will have to pay someone to do it right. A lawyer might take a percentage of your part do do the work. However lawyesr get this request all the time so be prepared to give up a good percentage.

It might be better for you to borrow the moneyand pay the attorney on an houly basis. I charge $400 per hour. call me (R. Gary Stephens) at (713) 629-1111 if you want me to try and help.
