Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Texas
I am 16 years of age, I have purchased an IPod & battery operated portable piano, all with money I have earned from lawn mowing and other honeydo's. I have currently been grounded by my parents from my game console (which they bought for me). Now my father is attempting to ground me from both my IPod and piano. Is he legally allowed to do this if I bought them?

Yes. I applaud your ability to provide for yourself! But, your parents still rule, and they can ground you from using your toys, even if you bought them yourself.

I agree with Ms. Grosse. The magic number is 18 years of age and you are not there yet.
