Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Texas

im starting a major protest against the war with Iraq in my community i want to post posters - banners and hand out flyers every i can think of in order to make sure the truth is unavoidable but i want to makle sure i wont be charged with massive fines of littering or soliciting. what can i do to make this perfectly legit and protect my self from fines and\or persecution.

Such postings and distributions often require a permit from local government. Check with your town administrator. The city attorney's office may also be of service.
