Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Texas
Car Title
I have my car financed through a bank which Im the loan holder on and my mom is the co-signer on and the car is titled in both of our names. When we argue she tries telling me shes going to take my care and I wont get it back. I am the only one who has paid the car note on it so even though its in both of our names on the title can she by law take it from me to where I can have use to it?

Re: Car Title
Since you are both on the title, neither can "steal" the car legally as both are owners. Civilly, however, you have the right to possess the car over your mother as you have made the entire economic investment in it.
Perhaps she just threatens you with taking the care when she is angry with you and doesn't really mean to do it. Apparently she hasn't so far.
Good luck.
