sister killed,friend seriously injured, his vehicle insurance states to settle my parents 50,000 and her friend 25,000 by accepting this will it hurt the civil case of wrongful death in the future after the criminal part of the incident is completed he only got charged with causing injury or death x's 2

Do you have a lawyer? most will discuss for free...and you must file a lawsuit within two years or all rights are lost. The criminal part is not required ...do you know what his policy limits are? does your car or cars have underinsured motorist coverage..if so, you need permission to settle or lose all that insurance...

Was driver in course of employment?...drunk? see a competent personal injury lawyer..call us as we handle many such cases...
