Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Texas

civil lawsuit

I had a friend who fell off my roof and tried to sue my homeowners insurance and insurance company said we were not neglegent gave her a 1000.00 dollar accident and she took the money. now just shy of 2 years since incident we received citations for suit . i faxed them to the insurance company. what happens now?

Insurance companies have convinced most people not to sue...and some even believe one must sue the insurer for people like you...but if you were negligent, the insurer will defend you and SHOULD tell you if a demand for more than your policy limits nay be won. Most lawyers do not sue unless they believe you were negligent...as insurers will claim no negligence for rear end collisions..
