Criminal record and employment

I just had a job offer retracted from me by a major chemical company based on a DWI and driving on a suspended liscence charges dating back to 2002. They obtained this information via preemployment website service. Do I have any recourse here? And can I get these things removed from my record? Will I ever be able to work for a large company again?

You have no recourse. DWI's stay with you for life.

The only way you could have it expunged from your record is if you were found not guilty or the case was dismissed.

There are companies out there that will hire you. Don't give up there is a job out there for you.
