Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Texas
my daughter and her boyfriend (soon to be ex) had a baby together. recently, they both had an argument and he took the baby, ran to his parents, and they all banned my daughter from the property per police. police say this is legal. we think its kidnapping. what is it, and, what can we do??

File an application for a writ of habeas corpus immediately.
It probably IS kidnapping, but you won't have any luck getting the police to help you.
