What is ther difference in deny with prejudice and deny without prejudice?

If a case is dismissed with prejudice, the claims of that case can not be refiled against the defendant. If it is dismissed without prejudice, the same case can be refiled within the applicable statute of limitations. If you are settling a case, always make sure you are having the case dismissed with prejudice. I hope this helps.
