Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Texas
driver license
I have lost my DL due to being sued from an accident in 1997. Texas has not suspended my license by the lawyer has a hold on and it. It has been almost 10yrs. how long do I have to wait till I can get it back or will I ever get it back? What do I have to do to get my license?

Re: driver license
That license has certainly expired. Have you contacted the Texas Department of Public Safety? Frankly, the notion of a lawyer "holding on" to a license makes no sense.
