Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Texas
Failure To Of Jury Qualification Questionnaire
I recently received a summons to appear in court (on my birthday) to show cause as to why I shoul not be found in contempt. I was living in and out of my current residence as I had family problems. my question to you is what can I do to avoid being charged with contempt of court. How should I plea & what can happen to me if I am found guilty?

Re: Failure To Of Jury Qualification Questionnaire
Go to court earlier than the date you've been summoned and ask the judge to advance your case, or to give you a continuance. Either will work to get you out of going to court on your birthday. Every other question requires more information.
