Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Texas
harrassing phone calls
My wifes drug addict ex-boyfriend periodically calls at 3 in the morning. I've asked him to stop, but the calls and text messaging continue in the middle of the night, disturbing our sleep. Is there legal action we can leverage to stop this? It's hard to reason with a drug addict at 3:30 in the morning, and I'm certainly not a violent person. Any suggestions?

You can always get a restraining or protective order from the court.
