Is it illegal in Texas not to inform your sexual partner you are infected with HIV?

If you are HIV positive you have a duty to inform anyone you are sexually active with that you are positive.
If you infect your partner and you did not inform them you were positive you could be prosecuted.
The only way you could possibly protect yourself is if you actually had the other party sign a letter acknowledging that you informed them you were HIV positive. This doesn't sound practical but neither does going to prison.
