Legal Drinking Age
In the state of Texas, is it legal for a person under the age of 21 to be served and consume alcohol if in the presense of an adult parent or spouse?

No. It is not illegal to consume alcoholic beverages at one's own home, but it is a criminal offense for the minor to purchase or drink alcoholic beverages at a public establishment. It is also unlawful for the restaurant or bar to serve anyone under 21. Whether a parent or spouse over the age of 21 is present is irrelevant.
