Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Texas
Manufactured Homes
I purchased a manufactured home in October, 2001. The dealer that sold it to us sent people out to make repairs but at the same time damaged things that had already been repaired by the manufacturer. The dealer says he is not going to repair anything else in our home - what can I do about it? Shouldn't he be liable for making the repairs since his contractor did the damage? Can I file a lawsuit against him for the damages as well as for all the stress & loss from work that I have incurred from this? Please help.

Re: Manufactured Homes
As the contractors were doing work at the request of the dealer, the dealer is responsible. If the damages do not exceed $5000, you can file suit in small claims court.
