Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Texas
My neighbor keeps catching my cats in a cage and taking them to the pound. We keep having to pay to get them back. We asked the pound people if there was anything we can do about it, but they don't really know. He really wants my white cat because it keeps "getting paw prints" on his car, but there are other cats in the neighborhood as well. He told the pound and the pound told us that he wasnt gonna bring that cats there and he was gonna take them to a feild and shoot them or bring them to a different town and leave them there. My cats are outdoor cats and i only have two but they are also indoor as well...they dont wear collars. I think he got my white cat considering we havnt seen him in a few days. And if he did we wont see him again. my neighbor said he wont tell us the name of the town. is there anything i can do? is it even legal?

Most municipalities don't allow pets to roam free. And your neighbor has the right to control who (or what) comes onto his property. If you allow your animals to roam onto his property, you're going to have to be prepared for the consequences.
Keep your pets inside.
