Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Texas
Can a person talk to a minor without the parents consent? The age gap is 3 years; there was nothing sexual or inappropriate. It was online and there was a webcam but nothing dirty. The parents don't approve, can they press charges?

No. This is America; we have freedom of speech. Talking isn't a crime. The exceptions are if somebody conspires to overthrow the government, or yells "Fire" in a crowded theater.
