Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Texas
I am a personal care attendant for a gentleman who recently turned in a cab company for overcharging handicapped persons. Since this has happened they refuse to pick me up because of my association with him. Is this discrimination and can I file a lawsuit?

You can sue anyone for anything at anytime.
That said, you cannot force a company to do business with you.
You can go to small claims court in your neighborhood.
Unfortunately, I doubt that you will seek the satisfaction that you want.
I would use another cab company or find alternate transportation.
Have you considered going to the media - like the Houston Press magazine - to report your allegations? Or, Adult Protection Services?
