Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Texas
I was picking up cans on a county road in texas. A woman in a van pulled up and told me that I was not a resident of that county road and that I better leave. If I did not leave she would call the police. I never stepped on any ones property. What are the laws on this matter?

You can tell her to go away and leave you alone. She's a jerk. In fact, tell her to go ahead and call all the police she wants to.
You have a right to pick up cans (or any other refuse) along the right-of-way of a road whether you're a "resident of that county road" or whether you're a resident of Canada.
