Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Texas

Privacy violation

My husband and I have had a slightly rough time with our finances due to job changing and such. We have been running 2 - 3 weeks late on our mortage for the last 6 months. Our daughter and son inlaw recently applied for a car loan with CarMax - one of the banks that they applied with is also the bank we have our mortage. Our daughter put down our address as her former address - she has been married 9 months. Our son inlaw put down my husband as closest next of kin- and his parents home as former address. This past Sunday we received a call from our son inlaws father - telling us that for the past couple weeks he has been receiving calls from our mortage company wanting to know if he knows how to contact us. The call us several tims a week - they have our numbers. We have only met our daughters inlaws 3 times, they live 700 miles away. This is the only way our mortage company would have gotten their information. My question is - have our privacy rights or our daughters privacy rights been violated??
