Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Texas
Pulling a weapon on mother and child unprovoked
Would it violate my son's civil rights, as well as mine, for two cops to repeatedly pull their loaded weapons and point them at us just to hear my son scream? If they did not ever shoot at us, can they still be held accountable for this terroristic threat? The attack was completely unjustified, unprovoked, and unnecessary. This occurred following a simple traffic stop allegedly for speeding. You cannot be arrested for speeding. I strenuously objected when the cop suddenly and unexpectantly opened my passenger side door and leaned inside. This was retaliation for my objecting to his unreasonable entry into my vehicle without any reason whatsoever.

Re: Pulling a weapon on mother and child unprovoked
When and where did this happen? Who was driving the vehicle? You said the officer entered your vehicle, did he make any comments?
You may be able to file a complaint with the police department.
