Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Texas

I was recently in a car accident and was pulled out a the wreckage and immediately arrested for p. i. I was not driving I was given a very quick sobriety test then taken to jail I was not read my rights when I arrived to the police station I asked for a phone call I was told not right now after asking several times over several hours they persisted no then I asked to speak to my lawyer and again no after being very persistent they booked me and put me in a cell around 5 am I was given a granola bar for breakfast and around 9am I went to see the judge there were ten of us in a 1010 room covered in urine the ordered to realise me and I was sent back to my cell where I waited till 3pm when they finally let me go with no lunch served yet, are these grounds for a lawsuit and how would I go about handling this?

No grounds for a lawsuit. You were released within 24 hours. You were fed like everyone else. Your rights only apply if the cops ask you questions about criminal stuff while in custody, and the only thing that can happen is to suppress the inculpatory statements.
