Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Texas
Relocating
Someone I know has a pending felony assault charge, and is also in the Army National Guard and is trying to transfer to another state with the guard. Is it possible to move away and transfer all upcoming legal issues--The question is can someone move away before being sentenced?

Re: Relocating
If the felony assault charges are being handled by a local DA, you will not be able to transfer the matter to another county. Your friend need to address these questions to the JAG attorney.
