Repossion
If you are making a payment but not a full payment on your car can they still take it a way from you?

Unless, and this is unlikely, your contract states otherwise, the answer is yes. If you are behind on your legal obligation, you have broken your contract and the finance company/dealer probably has the right, but not the obligation, to retrieve its collateral, your car. If you are making a good faith effort to get current with your payments, however, you may well be able to negotiate an agreement for more time before they do so.
