Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Texas

Single Parent

I was fired because I took a call from my daughters principal @ school. My unemplyment was denied, the Owner lied to the Texas Workforce, said I had been written up 4 times and signed the forms, this is NOT true. I was talked to 1 other time due to receiving calls regarding my mother having a stroke and being in the hospital. My last emplyment I was there 13 years, my work history is solid. What rights do I have as a single parent, I have a letter fromt he school stating they have the right to call me at any time or place when needed? Please help!

Thanks

Ms. Ramazetti
