Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Texas
Stolen Vehicle Accident
8/29/02
My Vehicle was stolen back in Late Febuary from my Apartment Home in Dallas Texas. When it was stolen it was wrecked into one of the neighbors car but the person that stole it kept going (hit and run). A police report was filed on both the theft and the hit and run. My insurance would not cover because I only had liability on the vehicle. Now the persons who's car was hit is having her boyfriend call up friends of mine stating that he will sue me for 2000.00 the cost to repair the vehicle.. Can he sue and do you know what my statutes of limitation is on this situation

Re: Stolen Vehicle Accident
Report the matter to your liability insurance carrier and let them handle it. That's what you have insurance for.
