Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Texas
theft between $50 - 100
my daughter recently got caught shoplifting. The merchandise totaled between between $50-100. The merchandise was confascated and she was taken to jail. Bail was posted and now she has a court date. What is the penalty for 1st offense at the age of 17? How can I keep this from getting on her record?

Get a competent criminal lawyer in your area...they will know what theCourts normally do...but unfortunately....it stays on ones record unless a good lawyer can keep it off...
