You need to hire a good attorney as soon as possible. Do not talk to anyone about this other than your attorney. Not even family; just tell them you would like to talk about it but you have been advised by counsel not to discuss the situation with anyone until this whole mess is over.

Be very careful in the attorney you hire. There are a lot of lawyers out there that are a lot of talk that just want to take your money and throw you to the wolves. Hire an attorney with a proven track record of not guilty verdicts. Not just someone with a big name. If they haven't been wining trials they haven't been trying enough cases.

Demand the best because your life is on the line here. This accusation is very serious.
