Legal Question in Technology Law in Texas
I sent an individual money for something I was buying from them over the internet. It was a person to person transaction not through any site. They never sent me the product. What options do I have in regards to pressing charges.

Go to your district attorney and relate the facts and fill out a complaint. The will likely take it from there. This may also violate Federal laws, so you may want to discuss it with your local US Attorney to see if Federal laws were broken (e.g mail fraud, RICO or the like). If the adversary is local to the same locality as you, you probably want to go to small claims court. This is probably too small a case for any decent lawyer to take it without pre-payment.
