Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Texas
Legal Rights as a Consumer
In March of 2000, I purchased a 2000 Dodge Neon. I noticed several "little" problems with the car, but never took it in to be looked at until September 2000, when I began having more severe problems, not related to the other. I took it to a different dealership. Their maintenance dept. informed me that this car had been in a major accident. I was never told of this problem when I purchased the car. All my "little" problems were covered under the manufacturers warranty. Is their anything I can do legally to the dealership for withholding that information? I am spending my hard earned money on a car that was wrecked and sold to me as new.

Re: Legal Rights as a Consumer
Contact the consumer fraud division of the Attorney General's office. It is clear fraud to sell a wrecked vehicle as new.
