Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Texas
If while being questioned by law enforcement officer about something and you do not know anything. Do they have the right to arrest you for resisting arrest.

Saying you don't know the answer to a question is not resisting arrest. But it's possible that something else you did would qualify. The police would then have discretion whether to arrest you for that crime. Your level of cooperation could influence how they exercise that discretion.
