For a corporation entering a construction contract, if the President signs the contract and there is a place for someone to attest, does it need to be an officer of the company?

Re: Attest signature
Not unless the company's operating agreement requires more than just the president to sign this type of contract. The point is to make sure the company is properly binding itself to the contract. Let me know if you need help with this.
