Legal Question in Construction Law in Texas

The faulty Chimmney

I went to court with a jury trial on a chimmney that dosnt work with a attorney and lost we proved with facts from university and other studies that it was built wrong after wards my attorney was shocked who had been practicing for years we just couldnt figure out what went wrong, then later on when i left the building 2 of the jury came up to me and said that most of the panel had made up there mind long ago and thought me and my wife had enof money and were well off with what they had seen of the pictures of our home and the subcontractor showed himself as not being able to pay for it. What can I do? I was told i could in some way as that the judge throw out the jury virdict and judge it on the facts given to the court. We have spent 14k already and dont have that much to do it all over again. Can you help Thanks

Re: The faulty Chimmney

Have your attorney move for a judgement notwithstanding the jury verdict, or appeal the judgment. Tell your attorney about the conversation you had with the jurors, and see if any would testify on your behalf.
